I am sailing around the world to raise money for the Coral Reef Alliance, a charity that works with communities to protect reef ecosystems. However, it will be an adventure, and I will be sharing the highs and lows along the way.

Bryan left his job as a software developer to pursue his dream of sailing the world while still young enough to enjoy it, and healthy enough to pull it off. He still has a lot to learn about ocean sailing, and you’re invited to follow him in his journey.

Who's Tarka?

Who's Tarka?

Tarka is a 1973 Albin Vega 27, sporting a mere 27 feet of length. The boat is sloop rigged, carries a full keel, and displaces more than 5,000 lbs of water. Tarka has already circumnavigated once, and will hopefully do so once again.
