Why sail around the world?
My mission in sailing around the world is to seek a challenge while creating a video-log capturing the blue corners of our planet to share with those unable to embark on their own voyage. In addition, I also hope to raise awareness for the fragility of our oceans in a changing climate.Read more
Who's the skipper?
Bryan left his job as a software developer to pursue his dream of sailing the world while still young enough to enjoy it, and healthy enough to pull it off. He still has a lot to learn about ocean sailing, and you're invited to follow him in his journey.Learn more
Tarka is a 1973 Albin Vega 27, sporting a mere 27 feet of length. The boat is sloop rigged, carries a full keel, and displaces more than 5,000 lbs of water. Tarka has already circumnavigated once, and will hopefully do so once again.Read more
